(Beijing, back in June) Tad met these guys on one side of Beijing as he was riding to the train station on the other side
They rode with him all the way across town and even through the pouring rain
This guy wanted his picture with the garden in the background
They both wanted to take a picture with my bike...
...and even stood in the rain until I got a good photo. Thanks for the escort boys
Back again to July 8, in Xian...this is a terracotta general
This warrior is an archer

This section is yet to be escavated. You can see the "houses" that the warriors are under. I understood from my guide that they were waiting so that when they do excavate these warriors they can preserve even the 2000 year old paint on them. A German company supposedly has a special chemical that will fix the old paint. Otherwise the color will disappear when exposed to the air, in about 24 hours

The "houses" holding more awaited discoveries
You can see the process of excavation going on in this room
My guide and I got to see ourselves on this video screen along with sights from the site
I met these two girls outside the site and interviewed the one in peach. Coming soon to PeaceBike Interviews!
