My "famous" Uncle Chuck, the one who was chased by a wild elephant in India, stopped in Beijing on his way to Mongolia to teach English. I got a surprise chance to hear news from home. It had been 16 and a half months since I had seen a member of my family. Thanks for the visit Uncle "Elephant Scars" Chuck

and we both had a good laugh.  I think it might have been his first camera

This woman in Chengdu was making flower bouquets out of 2-liter pop 
bottles. It was a great way to recycle them.  I bought one and gave it to a little girlnearby
