The night before I flew from Lhasa to Kathmandu I said goodbye to my two
"Hiros". Hiromichi, on the left, is a university student in Japan. Hiro, on the
right, was just beginning a 3-month bike ride through Tibet and western China. They
were both so friendly to me and I hope to see them both again!

I took a ride out of Kathmandu today. It started to rain and I decided to
head back. This is a roadside vegetable market
