December 3: A few Cookies and a Curbside - South of Ciudad Constition, Baja Sur, Mex

Today, I got my wheel straightened and fixed a flat at a bike shop.  After the repairs I realized that my rim was bent and that the problem was not with my spokes.  After that I have been sitting on the curb and catching up on my journals.  As I have been writing I have been playing water bottle squirt games with local kids and speaking with school kids about pen pals and sharing my cookies. 

I better get on south as I am about two days from La Paz.  For those of you wondering I will probably be catching a bus for part of the mainland trip in order to catch my Christmas plane back to Portland from Mexico City.
