Mar 11:  Waiting and resting - Totolapan, Oaxaca

Jon started today puking and so we didn't go far for awhile. We loaded up, crossed the river and pushed our bikes up to the road by 11 and I had some juice while Jon visited the local doctor. He returned with a bag of medicine, a few packets of electrolites, and was to rest for three hours.

During that time I bought food for tonight and tomorrow, as we will be away from any town, most likely, at least until midday. Then I waited for about 45 minutes trying to get a phone call through on this email machine. I'm not sure if it is this rural phone system or in the US, but it hasn't worked. I am now back for a second try and the long distance line is down.

Well, when you get this I will have gotten through!
