April 18:   A break by the water - Agua Azul, Chiapas

Howdy,

Today we spent most of our time taking turns adventuring around the waterfalls. We were going to leave in the afternoon but I read it was another 40 some kms to Misol-ha and that would be too much to do in just a few hours if it is uphill at all and it was very tempting just to enjoy the water.

I met new friends from Mexico City and Uruguay. We dreamed up a scheme of meeting up again in Uruguay. We will see!!!

My solar powered battery charger and batteries were stolen today as well. I guess I was meant to give a donation to the Chiapas Solar Energy Project! I was bugged, then bummed, then I figured it was minor and replaceable and went on.

Tomorrow on to the Misol-Ha Waterfall and Palenque!!
