April 23:   Same Scenery, Same Heat Racho de Pancho, North of Rio Chumpan

Woke up, remembered it was Easter!

No eggs. No chocolate in my tent. I guess the Easter Bunny couldn't make it.

I still felt festive and thought I'd call the fam but too early. Ended up no phone all day. Not much of anything except cattle, scrub brush, and the odd abandoned rancho.

Hot-hangout was near a river with a can of mixed fruit, orange juice, strawberry yogurt, and crackers for the Easter feast.

Three heavily armed police officers were curious. I gave them my orange juice.

A couple dips in the river...

Stayed the night at a rancho. I only remember the two kids' names. Pancho and Carina. All had a good time watching the Three Act PeaceBike Show - Putting up the Tent - Purifying the Water - Cooking the Spaghetti.

One of the guys kept asking if I had a pistola. I told him this was Bici de Paz not Bici de Pistola.

Company was nice!

Peace(Bike),
