April 24:   Mango Licuado Saves the Day - We'll see!, Campeche

Today got up early. Said goodbye. Out by 7:15, very hot. Stopped for snacks. Stopped for shade.

Stopped after 50 km for siesta. Downed a pitcher of mango licuado (shake). It was the only thing cold they had and it did the trick. After my fifteen minute nap my little inflatable mattress had a back shaped pool of sweat on it!

Something like an inferno with the haze of burning fields, relentless heat, and the same scenery as the last 3 days.

I am enjoying the shade and a jug of ice water.

Still sweatin'
