April 25:   A night in a Mexican Jail! - Jail Cell #1, 18 of March, Campeche

Donīt worry, I am only in for a night.

I canīt write much from my cell but letīs just say I was put in here for my own protection and not to protect the public, at least thatīs what I understood. The town of 18th of March is not that dangerous but this is the closest thing to a hotel and a few locals thought they would put me up in style. No harm done as there was no lock on the door and I was let out to get a popscicle for me and few buddies.

It was quite loud most of the night with a family working outside dismantling a carnival ride from a recent fiesta ītil about 1:30 in the morning. I slept as soundly as I could with wads of toilet paper stuck in my ears. I was sweating all night and I wasnīt even in my liner. Nice and warm! It was a relatively uneventful day with a couple of videos of nothing taken for my own amusement.
