| PeaceBike Projects
1. Strategic Business Planning - PeaceBike is writing business plans, marketing plans, and strategic plans to take PeaceBike from being known by 25,000 people to connecting millions of people. Do you have experience writing business plans, doing market research for web-based businesses, or writing strategic plans? If so please let us know. 2. Grant Writing - We will be raising revenue for our next projects through donations, fundraising and grants. Have you had experience writing and winning grants for non-profit organizations? We have written a few grants so far and we want to revise our applications, seek funding institutions and re-apply. We currently have a skilled grant-writer who has volunteered in the past for PeaceBike and might be able to work with new volunteers to go over past applications. 3. Pen pals - Help kids connect to kids and grow cross-cultural friendships. We have already connected about 1000 kids as PeaceBike pen pals. A few letter have been left behind at our home office and need a classroom. We also want to restructure our pen pal program to collaborate with another organization which connects pen pals so that we don't do all of the online coordination. We need someone to find these organizations, and help us make the transitions so that kids can keep connecting with pen pals through PeaceBike. 4. Ezine, Newsletter, and Online Publishing - Share your tale spinning skills with the world and be a part of telling the story of the pro-active peace work that PeaceBike is doing. We are moving from a paper only newsletter to a PeaceBike E-zine and want someone who can help us write and publish this. 5. Web Site Planning - We are in the exciting process of planning an interactive, global, online community. We are planning a website which links many cyclists to millions of kids and generates revenue to fund our programs. We are look people who have professional experience with e-commerce, database driven websites, and advanced web-design to help us strategically plan, research, and oversee the construction of PeaceBike Web II. 6. PeaceBike Journals For Kids (JFKs) Writing- We have started a new set of journals especially for beginning readers. We would like writers who could continue this project. They would summarize the current journals in "beginning reader" language and then help post them to the website. Do you have another passion? Do you have a project idea? Let us know |
